Edwin Morris Graham

Mr. Edwin Morris Graham, age 96, husband of the late Imogene Squires Graham passed away September 5, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  Mr. Graham was born December 4, 1922 a son of the late William David and Hattie Shelley Graham.  In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Graham was predeceased by one son, Michael Morris Graham, four brothers, Mason, Thurman, Dupree, and Ansel Graham, and two sisters, Esterlene Graham and Kathleen Chambers.  Mr. Graham was a United States Navy Veteran and served in World War II.  He was member of Aynor United Methodist Church where he served the church in many capacities.  Mr. Graham served on the board of the Horry Telephone Cooperative for 45 years.  He was also a charter member of the Aynor Pool, past Commander of the American Legion Post 81, member of the Veterans 40 and 8, a Lions Club Member, and was very helpful in providing for the Michael Morris Graham Recreational Complex.  Mr. Graham is survived by his son Carey E. Graham (Barbara) of Myrtle Beach, one daughter, Jeanne G. Taylor (Robby) of Aynor, one grandson, Graham R. Taylor (Cassie) of Columbia, two great grandchildren, Jackson and Tempie Taylor, one daughter in law, Terry Graham of Murrells Inlet, his caregivers, Judy Perritt, Sheila Rush, Porscha Rush, and Darlene Gibbs, and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Sunday September 8, 2019 at Aynor United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kelly Snelgrove officiating.  Burial will follow at the Aynor Cemetery.  Visitation will held prior to the service Sunday from 3:00-3:45 in the church fellowship hall.  Memorials can be made in Mr. Graham’s memory to the Aynor United Methodist Church General Fund, PO Box 348 Aynor, SC 29511.
