Talbert Brown Obituary

Mr. Talbert Brown, age 79, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday October 25, 2018. Mr. Brown was born in Conway, SC, a son of the late MacDuffie and Kathleen Richardson Brown. Talbert loved people and his outgoing, talkative nature meant he never met a stranger. An avid outdoorsman, he spent many hours on the waterways and rivers of South Carolina in the company of family and friends. Additionally, he had a great love of animals and was known to feed and care for strays. Both his love of the water and of animals are traits he passed on to his children and grandchildren. He was a lifelong member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church where he had previously served as Deacon and was a member of the Jordanville Masonic Lodge # 297. Surviving are his wife: Linda Brown of the home; two daughters: Cindy Ambrose (Page) of Aynor and Charleston; Cathy McKinney (Pete) of Greenville, SC; two brothers: Billy Joe Brown and Leonard Brown both of Galivants Ferry; sister: Glenda Moore-Johnson (Dale) of Conway; his favorite granddaughter: Dr. Alex Scott (Andrew); his three adorable grandsons: Austin Ambrose, Ian McKinney, and Seth McKinney.
