Mr. Alex “Pete” Graham, age 61, passed away on May 18, 2026, at his residence in Knife Island, SC. Mr. Pete was the son of the late Byron P. Graham and Daisy Lee Barnhill. He graduated from Aynor High School in 1983 and from Horry-Georgetown Technical College with a Degree in Civil Engineering. Pete was a very quiet person who loved everyone, especially his family. He was a friend for life to everyone. He loved his pets, riding horses (Bogie), and his many dogs, with Bootsie being his favorite. Pete enjoyed operating heavy machinery and spending time at Rosemary Island on the Little Pee Dee River, fishing, camping, and hanging out with his friends. Mr. Pete is survived by one daughter, Brooklyn Graham; one sister, Lisa Graham Herrington (Keith); nieces and nephews, Crickett Cartrette (Jonathan), David John Herrington (Noelle), and Graham Herrington (Lauren); great nieces and nephews, Lux, Locke, Ledger, Lennox, River, Daisy, Kade, Wrenley, and Colsem. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Antioch Baptist Church with Brother Jessie Barnhill officiating. The family will then receive friends at the Mt. Trolley Freewill Baptist Fellowship Hall following the service.
