August 20, 1937 – June 4, 2025
Mrs. Ann Page Gore, age 87, of Aynor, SC passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at MUSC Health of Florence. Mrs. Ann was born August 20, 1937, to the late McKeiver and Maude Dawsey Page. Ann graduated Aynor High School, spent two years at Bob Jones University, and graduated with a BS in Music and Choral conducting from Jacksonville State University in Alabama. She was a retired music teacher from the Horry County School System. She was a member of Red Hill Southern Methodist Church, organist, pianist, and choir director for many years and a lifetime member of Red Hill Missionary Society. Ann loved Beethoven, Christmas music, dancing, singing, and playing her Baldwin piano. She also enjoyed fishing, movies, Clemson Tigers, Duke Basketball, her country, the USA, and President Trump. She loved her garden, her plants, growing peanuts, the "Good ole Earth", and most of all, her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Mrs. Ann is predeceased by two sisters and two brothers-in-law: Carolyn "Sis" (Glenn) Eaton and Betsy (Frank Clay) Flinn; five brothers and three sisters-in-law: Sonny (Lavenia) Page, Willard Gaston "Colonel" (Ruth) Page, John Richard "Rich" Page, Philip Page, Andrew Jackson "Andy" Page and Vivian Page. Surviving Mrs. Ann is her dear companion, Earl McRoy Graham; one son: Asa McKeiver Gore (Darla); granddaughter: Roe Ann Gore; two brothers: Dan Page (Doris) and Sam Page; two sisters-in-law: Liz Page and Mary Crater; two special friends: Brenda and David Odem of Crestview, Fl.; one like a daughter in which Ann loved, a piano student who loves to play hymns and loved and understood her playing, Donna Kay Jordan Strickland; and many nieces, nephews, great and great-greats. Visitation for Mrs. Ann Gore will be held from 5-7 PM Friday, June 6, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor. A funeral service will be held 10 AM Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Red Hill Southern Methodist Church with Rev. Rawlin Booth officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Mrs. Ann Gore's honor to the Boys Farm of Newberry, SC (6655 Hwy 34/121 Newberry, SC 29108 or St. Jude's Hospital at www.stjude.org.
