Mrs. Annie L. Childs, age 93, passed away November 15, 2025, at Embrace Hospice of South Carolina. Mrs. Childs was born on September 16, 1932, a daughter of the late Dock Scarborough Roberts and Essie May Richardson Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband: Theodore Childs; one son: Samuel Lee Childs; one sister: Nancy Hardwick and a brother: Jimmie Roberts. She was of the Baptist faith and graduated from Aynor High School in 1950. She loved watching her many birds, flowers and gardening. Mrs. Childs is survived by two sons: Michael Childs (Teresa) and Jimmy Childs; three grandchildren: Joseph Childs (Leighann), Jess Wypij (Josh) and Elise Childs; five great grandchildren: Bryson Childs, Brayden Childs, Adalyn Wypij, Audrey Wypij and Arden Wypij; and three brothers: Carl Roberts, Billy Roberts and L.P. Roberts. Graveside services for Mrs. Childs will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Aynor Cemetery.
