Mr. Arthur Donald Johnson, age 82, of Galivants Ferry passed away February 9, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  Mr. Donald was the husband of Mrs. Bobbie Ann Johnson and the son of the late Arthur K. and Ethel Amelia Graham Johnson.  Mr. Johnson was the father of the late Donna Johnson, brother of the late Kenny Johnson, Boyd Johnson, and twin sisters Brenda and Amelia Johnson.  Mr. Donald was a member of Happy Home Baptist Church.  He enjoyed working the land and he farmed all his life.  Mr. Donald loved fishing and hunting.  Surviving Mr. Johnson is the wife of the home, Mrs. Bobbie Ann Johnson; three sons: Glenn Johnson (Sharon), Randy Johnson (Lynn), and Stevie Johnson (Christie); one daughter: Brenda Brown (Russell); son-in-law: Reggie Johnson; grandchildren: Skylar Johnson (Meagan), Caiden Johnson (Karoline), Lakelyn Bell (Christian), Amelia Taylor (Wade), Christian Johnson (Montanna), Nick Johnson (Ashlyn), Paige Young (Brett), Brooklyn Graham, Rusty Brown (Rachal), Crystal Johnson (Ashley), Kyle Johnson (Chassity), and Dylan Johnson (Kelsey); eighteen great grandchildren; and three sisters: Faye Huggins, Linda Mims, and Jackie Squires.  The family would like to thank caretakers Meg Striker and Katrina Buffkin and Amedisys Hospice for all the care they gave toward Mr. Donald.  A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 – 10:45 AM Monday, February 12, 2024, at Happy Home Baptist Church.  Funeral service will follow beginning at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Roger Chestnut and Rev. Rusty Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Memorials can be made in honor of Mr. Donald Johnson to Happy Home Baptist Church 2866 Nichols Hwy Galivants Ferry SC 29544.
