Mrs. Barbara "Bob" Hucks, age 77, passed away at her residence on February 22, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Hucks was born July 21, 1947, a daughter of the late Tommy and Lena Graham Parker and was also predeceased by two brothers: Buddy and Hubert Parker and her beloved mother-in-law: Lessie Hucks. Mrs. Hucks was owner and operator of Barbara's Daycare for many years and always had a great love for all the children. She was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church. Mrs. Hucks and her husband of 58 years, Roger Hucks lived in the Dog Bluff section of Horry County where they raised their children: Christopher Hucks (Heather), Jack Hucks, Wendy Lee Hucks (Mark Klimaszewski) and Nikki Hamilton (Kyle). In addition to her husband and children, Mrs. Hucks is survived by nine grandchildren: Austin Hamilton, BreAnna Emminger, Matthew Hamilton, Alyssa Hamilton, Carlee Hamilton, CeeJaye Hamilton, Seven Hamilton, Reagan Hucks, and Chad Hucks; one great grandchild: Carson Emminger; two brothers: Douglas Parker and Frank Parker; two sisters: Jean Isom and Frances Besemer; and one beloved sister-in-law: Nyoka Hucks. A graveside service for Mrs. Hucks will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Rehoboth Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Lewis officiating.
