Mrs. Betty Jo Martin Leigh, age 85, of Ladson, SC passed away July 20, 2023 at Summerville Medical Center.  Mrs. Leigh was the wife of the late Jesse C. Leigh, Sr. and the daughter of the late Harvey and Selena Johnson Martin.  In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by one daughter, Betty Mae Leigh.  She is survived by her five sons: Jesse Leigh (Nancy), Frank Leigh (Kay), James Leigh (late Jerrie), Tommy Leigh (Pam), and Johnny Leigh; grandchildren:  Taylor, Sydney, Selena, Micah, Savannah, Victoria, Christina, Ross, Scarlett, Parker, Tara, T.J., Jessica, Kimberly, Heather, David, and Jenny; and numerous great grandchildren.  Mrs. Betty Jo loved everyone, but her boys were the apple of her eyes.  Mrs. Betty Jo Leigh services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Rehoboth Community Church with the Rev. Billy Phillips officiating.  Burial will follow in the church graveyard.  The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
