Mrs. Billie Thorpe Capps, age 84, passed away August 26, 2020 at McLeod Health in Dillon.  Mrs. Capps was born December 13, 1935, a daughter of the late Bill Farson Thorpe and the late Georgie Louise Wilson Thorpe.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Capps was predeceased by two sons: Hallie Paxton Clark III, Bill Franklin Sigwald; and two brothers: Jack Wilson Thorpe and Richard David Thorpe.  Mrs. Capps was a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church and is survived by two sons: Joey Sigwald, of Charleston and Richard James Elliott Jr. (Kathy), of Ocklawaha, Florida; three grandchildren: Shannon Elliott of Charleston, Bryan Clark and Nikki Clark both of Greenville; and one great grandchild: Paige Elliott.  A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 29, 2020, at Rehobeth Baptist Church with the Rev. Stevie Baker officiating.  The family will visit with friends following the service.  Please remember to follow all social distancing guidelines and CDC recommendations.
