Billy W. Calder, age 67 of Pleasant Union Rd. passed away January 27, 2015 at Grand Strand Medical Center following an extended illness with his family by his side. Mr. Calder was born October 17, 1947 a son of the late Monroe and Emma Brown Calder. He was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church and he loved hunting, fishing, and NASCAR. Surviving Mr. Calder in addition to his wife Mrs. Katie Calder of the home are one son, Bill Calder and his wife Leslie of Galivants Ferry, one daughter, Sandy Doyle and her husband Roger of Conway, two brothers, Ivey and Bobby Calder both of Conway, four sisters, Jean Lewis, Joyce Chestnut, Louise Chandley, all of Conway and Linda Davis of Florence, four grandchildren, Andrea Davis, Ryan Doyle, Kaitlyn Calder, Landen Calder, and many special nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday January 28, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday January 29, 2015 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Dock Rabon officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
