Mr. Billy Ray Norton, age 69, of Loris passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at his residence.  Mr. Norton was the husband of the late Martha Martin Norton and son of the late Marvin and Gladys Stevens Norton.  In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Billy was predeceased by one brother: Preston "Buddy" Norton; two sisters: Edna Allen and Elouise Caulder; and his beloved pet, Trixie.  Mr. Norton loved Nascar and listening to music.  He is survived by two daughters: Shannon Crocker and Melanie Harrelson; six grandchildren: Madison Neal, Meckenzie Neal, Scarlett Carter, Dominic Suggs, Ava Carter, and Trevor Carter; one great grandchild: Hazlyn Neal; one brother: Larry Norton; and two sisters; Faye Cooper and Betty Johnson.  A graveside service will be held for Mr. Billy Ray Norton 2:00 PM Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Christian Fellowship Church Cemetery with Rev. Billy Phillips officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
