Mrs. Brenda J. Hucks, age 61, passed away August 30, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family following an extended illness. Mrs. Hucks was born September 7, 1954 a daughter of the late Kenneth and Vance Williamson Gerrald. She was predeceased by one brother, Wayne Sarvis, and one sister, Wanda Bellune. Mrs. Hucks enjoyed her time at the beach and fishing. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She retired after 28 years of service with the Horry County School District. Mrs. Hucks is survived by her husband, Mr. Billy Hucks of the home, one son, Will Hucks, and one daughter, Stephanie Squires (Heath) all of Aynor, two sisters, Lois Mazyck of Charleston, Venice Mack of Aynor, and five grandchildren, Emily Squires, Lainey Squires, Kaylee Hucks, Kason Hucks, and Bryson Turner.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday August 31, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE

Graveside services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday September 1, 2016 at Happy Home Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Johnny Jenerette officiating.
