Mr. Carl P. Harrelson, age 72 husband of Mrs. Katie Harrelson passed away August 3, 2014 at Conway Medical Center. Mr. Harrelson was born September 18, 1941 a son of the late Gary and Laura Cooper Harrelson. He was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church and was predeceased by five brothers and one sister. Surviving Mr. Harrelson in addition to his wife are, three sons, Rick Hopkin (Cindy) of Rockhill, Randall Lewis of Gastonia, Paul Harrelson (Carrie) of Conway, two daughters, Sheila Barton (Louis) of Aynor, Christy Harrelson of Aynor, one sister, Helen Wakefeild of Virginia, and five grandchildren, Nicholas, Madison, Olivia, Jacob, and Ryan Barton.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday August 6, 2014 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Dock Rabon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
