Mr. Carl E. Richardson, age 77, husband of Mrs. Betty Dix Richardson, passed away August 15, 2021 at his residence with his loving wife by his side.  Mr. Carl was born October 4, 1943, a son of the late Dick and Annie Edwards Richardson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Carl was predeceased by two sisters: Alidene Beaman and Ruby Follie; and six brothers: Cordy, Ronnie, Howard, Ernest, Willie and James Richardson. Mr. Carl was a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of the home: Mrs. Betty Dix Richardson; two sisters: Flora Capps of Conway and Thelma Herring of Galivants Ferry; a special niece: Tammy Dunn of Conway; and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and extended family. Funeral services for Mr. Carl will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Rehobeth Baptist Church with the Rev. Stevie Baker and Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Memorials can be made in Mr. Carl's memory to Rehobeth Baptist Church, PO Box 190 Aynor, SC 29511.  The family request that everyone attending the service must wear face mask and please observe all social distancing guidelines.
