Ms. Cheryl "Nanny Cheryl" Floyd, age 74, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, September 25, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.  Ms. Cheryl was the daughter of the late James Hubert and Jemima Skipper Floyd.  In the eyes of the family, Nanny Cheryl was the best part of our family and held us together.  She was the best cook, the most selfless, serving, independent, generous, full of love and giggles, and beautiful inside and out person.  We are so, so lucky for the time we had with her and will deeply grieve the time we won't.  We will love you forever, Nanny.  Ms. Cheryl is survived by one sister: Tammy Carroll (Gene); Nanny's Children: Skipper Carroll (Laura), Brandon Carroll (Shannon), Britt Carroll (Karon), and Kacie Walters (Cotton); Nanny's Grandchildren: Hunter Walters, Madison Wells (Chase), Drake Carroll, Hope Carroll, Colby Walters, Ethan Carroll, Carly Carroll, Heaven Carroll, Bristol Smith, Brittlee Carroll, Hudson Carroll, and Tyson Carroll; and special friends: Richard and Linda.   A visitation for Ms. Cheryl Floyd will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor. A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at The Rock Church of Aynor with the Rev. Tom Lovern, Rev. Scott Johnson, and Skipper Carroll officiating.  Burial will follow at Aynor Cemetery.
