Mrs. Christine Lee, age 89, wife of the late Freeman Worth Lee, passed away June 11, 2020 in Brevard, NC.  Mrs. Lee was born February 17, 1931, a daughter of the late Note and Lena Cooke Hucks.  In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Lee was predeceased by one son, Phillip Andrew Lee and two sisters, Amaryllis Smith and Valva Holt.  She was a member of Salem Baptist.  Mrs. Lee is survived by two sons, Roger Lee and David Lee (Regina), a special nephew, Boyd Holt, three grandchildren, Amy Banner, Jamie Frandsen, Casey Johnson (Emily), and six great grandchildren, Oliver Frandsen, Alexander Frandson, Branden Briscoe, Sienna Briscoe, Emmitt Johnson, and Callen Johnson.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Herrington officiating.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-1:45 PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Memorials can be made in Mrs. Lee's memory to, Salem Baptist Church Building Fund, 4008 Salem Road Aynor, SC 29511.  Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, proper social distancing practices will be observed.
