Mr. Christopher "Chris" Parker, age 67, of Aynor passed away at Embrace Hospice of South Carolina following an extended illness.  Mr. Parker was the husband of the late Kim Parker and son of the late Huie and Mary Ellen Parker.  In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Chris is predeceased by one son-in-law, Dominic Schnyder.  Mr. Parker was a member Aynor Methodist Church.  He was Fire Chief for Horry County Fire Rescue Station 24, Aynor station and lifelong member of the Aynor Rescue Squad.  Mr. Chris was an avid outdoorsman.  Surviving Mr. Chris are his two daughters: Ashley Schnyder and Malory Bradford (TJ); five grandchildren: Abigail Schnyder, Ava Schnyder, Ethan Bradford, Elena Bradford, and Parker Bradford; two brothers: David Parker (Wendy) and Pat Parker (Lucinda); nephews: Tanner Parker and Leigh Rabon; and one niece: Audrey Holmes.  A visitation for Mr. Parker will be held Tuesday April 2, 2024 from 6 – 8 PM at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Aynor Rescue Squad, 500 Jamie Road Galivants Ferry, SC 29544.  Funeral services will be private.
