Mr. Claude Lewis, age 74, of Aynor passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, December 14, 2023.  Mr. Claude was the husband of Pat Lewis and son of the late Grover and Mary Graham Lewis of Georgia.  Mr. Lewis was a veteran of the US Army where he worked in the Army Intelligence division while serving in Korea.  He was a loving husband, father, and Pop Pop.  Mr. Claude will be remembered by others as being a smart, nice, kindhearted man that would do anything for anyone.  His advice he would give to his children and friends was advice that should be taken to heart.  You never saw Mr. Claude when he didn't have a smile on his face.  Surviving Mr. Lewis is his wife of the home, Pat Lewis; three children: Kimber Lewis, Paige Marquez (Jay), and Kris Lewis (Kari); two grandchildren: Claudia and Kingsley; one brother: Don Lewis (Ellen); and many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services for Mr. Claude will be held 2:00 PM Monday, December 18, 2023, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Phillips officiating.  Burial will follow at Aynor Cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the burial at the cemetery.
