Mr. Cliff "Sonny Boy" Chestnut, age 83, of Longs passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020, at his residence.  Mr. Chestnut was born on April 11, 1937, in Myrtle Beach, SC, a son of the late Donnie A. and Thelma Inman Chestnut.  Mr.  Chestnut was a farmer, avid hunter, and outdoorsman.  He enjoyed strumming his guitar and playing "Setback" with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Chestnut was predeceased by one daughter: Shelia D. Chestnut.  Mr. Chestnut is survived by his wife: Renita Chestnut; two sons: Mark Chestnut of Myrtle Beach and David Chestnut (Judy) of Conway; one daughter: Lisa C. Hill of Conway; two step daughters: Brandy Jordan Hughes (Jarrett) of Conway and Kendal Jordan Lowry (Bryan) of Myrtle Beach; one sister: Judy C. Edwards (Preston) of Idaho; and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  Memorials can be made in Mr. Chestnut's memory to Chestnut Cemetery, 7809 Hwy. 90 Longs, SC 29568 or to the McLeod Guest House, Po Box 100551 Florence, SC 29502-0551.  A private graveside service will be held.  Please contact Mr. Chestnut's family for any additional information.
