Mrs. Colene Taylor, age 84, of Aynor passed away Thursday March 7, 2024, at Anderson Oaks Assisted Living of Conway.  Mrs. Taylor was the daughter of the late Rev. Hope and Louise Lupo Rabon.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Colene is predeceased by her first husband: MB Hughes Jr.; one granddaughter: Taylor Hughes; brothers: HB Rabon Jr, Oberl Rabon, and Audie Rabon; and one sister: Lila Smith.  She attended Bakers Chapel Baptist Church.  Mrs. Taylor will be remembered by others for being a giver to everyone, one that loved baking pies and cakes to give to everyone in the community and going to yard sales with her husband.  She was a caring wife, mother, and mema.  Surviving Mrs. Taylor is the husband of the home, Mr. Roger Taylor; two sons: Rodney Hughes (Tamara) and David Taylor (Leoni); two daughters: Debbie Strickland (Wayne) and Malinda Canady (Billy); five grandchildren: Tommy Strickland, Tyler Strickland, Seth Hughes, Trey Canady, and Morgan Canady; five great grandchildren: Chloe Strickland, Charli Strickland, Silas Strickland, Brantley Hughes, and Everleigh Hughes; one brother: Mike Rabon; and two sisters: Sylvia Graham and Wanda Causey.  A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, March 11, 2024, at Cool Springs Southern Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jeremy Todd officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
