Mrs. Curlie Ann Norton, age 69 wife of the late Billy Joe Norton, passed away September 10, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Norton was born September 2, 1947 a daughter of the late Elijah and Mildred Cooper Gasque. Mrs. Norton attended Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Norton was the owner and operator of Curlie's Cut and Curl for many years. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph Gasque and Jesse James Gasque. She was a wonderful caretaker of her family that she loved dearly. The family would like to thank Mrs. Linda for all of her special care. Mrs. Norton is survived by one son, Billy Joe "Jody" Norton Jr. (Sonia), Sara Jo Singleton (Kim) all of Aynor, four sisters, Shirley Johnson (Harry Jordan) of Marion, Fannie Ellis (Charlie) of Aynor, Sheila Gasque of Aynor, Annie Register (Dan) of Conway, three grandchildren, Bronson Church, Morgan Singleton, Claire Singleton, and two great grandchildren, Kyleigh Church and Sadie Church.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE

A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Monday September 12, 2016 at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Kevin Johnson officiating.

VISITATION

The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
