Cynthia Kay Arnot, 83, of Aynor, passed peacefully at home on June 10, 2026, surrounded by the family she cherished.
Born to the late Buster and Kitty Pundt Corvette, Cynthia built a life defined by warmth, generosity, and genuine care for others. She devoted more than 40 years to the hospitality industry — a career that suited her perfectly. Whether she was elevating a guest's experience or simply making someone feel at home, Cynthia had a gift for connection that left lasting impressions and lifelong friendships wherever she went.
Above all, Cynthia loved her family. She had a special fondness for taking her grandchildren shopping — a simple joy that meant the world to everyone involved. She never turned anyone away, and her door, like her heart, was always open.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Arnot (Tennille); three grandchildren, Hunter Henderson, Harley Arnot, and Harris Arnot; and her brother, Ted Corvette.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 20th, at Southern Palms and Memorial Gardens in Myrtle Beach.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made to the McLeod Children's Hospital Neo-Natal Care unit: Donate here.

Cynthia and her family are in the care of Johnson Funeral Home, 290 9th Ave, Aynor (843) 358-5800.
