Mr. Dalton B. "Bill" Ward, age 79 husband of Mrs. Shelva Jean Lambert Ward passed away February 1, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Ward was born February 24, 1938 a son of the late Olen Emory and Betty Jane Todd Ward. He was the owner and operator of Wards produce on Highway 501 for many years. Mr. Ward was a member of Brown Swamp United Methodist Church and a veteran of the United States Air Force. In addition to his wife of the home, Mr. Ward is survived by two sons, Sam Ward (Amy) of Aynor, Mike Ward (Tammy) of Galivants Ferry, two daughters, Susan Marie Ward of Galivants Ferry, Lisa Jean Ward of Conway, three brothers, Kenny Ward (Sara) of Aynor, Robert Ward (Liz) of Galivants Ferry, Larry Ward (Lib) of Aynor, eight grandchildren, Jade Ward (Fritz Frye), Kathryn Reardon (Chris), Caleb Ward (Caitlin), Samantha Nealon (James), Sydney Rebarick, Liam Rebarick, Nick Rebarick, Keaton Strickland, and one great grandson, Elliott Ward.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE

A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday February 3, 2018 at Brown Swamp United Methodist Church Cemetery.

VISITATION

Visitation will be prior to the service from 2:00-2:45 PM in the courtyard of Brown Swamp United Methodist Church.
