Danny Michael Ray

Mr. Danny Michael Ray, age 51, of Loris, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2026, at McLeod Loris Hospital. Mike was the son of Betty Faye Spivey Williams and the late Danny Ray. In addition to his father, he is predeceased by his stepfather, Shelton Williams. Mike was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He will be remembered as a hard-working, outgoing person and a skilled taxidermist. His two children and his granddaughter were the apple of his eye. Mike is survived by his two children, Jessie Arias (Juan) and Danny Ray, Jr.; granddaughter, Cataleya Rose Arias; mother, Betty Faye Williams; brother, Cain Williams (Kyla); and niece and nephews, Cambree, Parker, and Briggs Williams. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Pleasant Meadow Baptist Church, with Pastor Billy Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00–2:45.
