Darlene Cockrell Hucks, age 69, wife of the late Rev. F. Levon Hucks passed away March 13, 2024 following an extended illness. Mrs. Hucks was born July 30, 1954 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Kenneth D. and Filamae Haney Cockrell. She was a member of Pisgah Global Methodist Church and loved walking on her farm and helping her late husband with his projects. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Hucks is survived by two sons: Warren Hucks (Amanda) and Nathan Hucks (Crystal); two daughters: Erin Soria (Carlito) and Megan Gonzalez (Jorge); eleven grandchildren: Cage Soria, Cruz Soria, Carlo Soria, Camon Soria, Colton Hucks, Nolan Hucks, Theo Hucks, Daria Gonzalez, Jenson Gonzalez, Evelyn Hucks and Donovan Hucks; two brothers: Kenneth Earl Cockrell and Larry William Cockrell.  A graveside services for Mrs. Hucks will be held 10:30 AM Friday, March 15, 2024, at Green Pastures Family Cemetery.
