Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Andrew, age 79, wife of the late James Benny Andrew, passed away unexpectedly on February 3, 2026, at her residence in Surfside Beach.  Mrs. Dot was born on November 21, 1946, a daughter of the late Daniel and Rosa Davis Richardson. She was a former member of the Aynor Jaycettes and the Chicora Car Club. Mrs. Dot was a member of Aynor Methodist Church and loved spending time with her family and loving grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by one granddaughter, Mary Kate Lovell, and one sister, Mary Ann Johnson. Mrs. Dot is survived by two sons: James Benjie Andrew (Angela) and Brandon Tray Andrew (Shanna); one daughter: Jill A. Lovell; six grandchildren: Andrew Lovell (Katelyn), Dylan Andrew, Carson Andrew, Coleman Andrew, Jillian Andrew, and Jenna Andrew; and two sisters: Ellen Grainger and Connie Morse. Visitation for Mrs. Dot will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Johnson Funeral Home from 1:00-2:00 PM. Graveside services will follow at Aynor Cemetery at 2:15 PM with the Rev. Randy Hilburn officiating.
