She loved to sew and cook, especially for her family. Her delicious recipes will be passed down for generations to come. She was a passionate University of North Carolina basketball fan-she seldom missed a game. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, prior to her illness. Her faith in God was strong. Her love for her family was deep and uncompromising. Her dedication to, and love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was legendary. She taught us all how to love each other; how to be compassionate to, and tolerant of others. She was the matriarch of a large and loving family that will miss her dearly, but, who also understand that she is now pain free and in a much better place. She was, and always will be, our inspiration. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at Conway Hospital and MUSC (Ashley Rivers Tower) who were so diligent and compassionate with her care.
