Mrs. Dorothy Bridgman Jordan, age 83 passed away November 19, 2015 at Grand Strand Medical Center with her family by her side following an extended illness. Mrs. Jordan was born December 9, 1931 a daughter of the late Henry Kay and Maggie Mae Cribb Bridgman. Mrs. Jordan was predeceased by her husband the late Asa Blix Jordan, one brother, James H. Bridgman, and one-son-in law, Levon Martin. Mrs. Jordan was a devoted and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her grands and great grands brought her much love, laughter, and enjoyment during her life. Their special name for her was "Ma-Ma". She was a member of Aynor United Methodist Church where she served in many different areas of the church for many years. Mrs. Dorothy is survived by her son, Blix Jordan (Ruthie), two daughters, Deborah Martin, and Susan Roach (Woody) all of Galivants Ferry, two brothers, Herbert H. Bridgman of Rains, Wilder K. Bridgman of Greenville, seven grandchildren, Amy Lambert (fiancé David Scott) of Atlanta, Jill Reeves (Matthew) of Seneca, Emily Salley (Brock) of Galivants Ferry, Bucky Jordan (Briggs) of Aynor, Jennifer Rabon (Chase) of Galivants Ferry, Dori Brown (Jeremy), of Aynor, Ivey Ridders of Myrtle Beach, 18 great grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, November 21, 2015 at Aynor United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joyce Murphy officiating.
VISITATION
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
BURIAL
Burial will follow at Aynor Cemetery.
