Mr. Edgar Cannon, age 72, of Conway passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  Mr. Edgar is the son of the late Leo and Hattie Singleton Cannon.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Cannon is predeceased by his first wife, Mrs. Gail Roberts Cannon.  Mr. Edgar was a member of High Point Baptist Church where he served as a former Deacon.  He was a loving husband, brother, and Pa Pa.  He was a Veteran of the US Air Force and loved being outdoors fishing.  Mr. Edgar is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kay Johnson Cannon; two step-daughters: Jenny Evans and Katina Ambrose (Teddy); five grandchildren: Kyle Drew (Nicole), Kaylyn Brown (Kyle), Jacob Ambrose, Abigail Ambrose, and Olivia Ambrose; three great grandchildren: Ryan Drew, Jackson Brown, and James Edgar Brown; one sister: Phyllis Cannon; and special cousins: Perry and Kim Singleton.  A graveside service for Mr. Edgar Cannon will be held 3:30 PM, Saturday, April 3, 2021 at High Point Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Mack Hutson officiating.  The family will visit with friends following the service in High Point Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.  Please remember to wear a mask and follow all CDC guidelines for social distancing.  Memorials can be made in honor of Mr. Edgar to High Point Baptist Church Brotherhood, 6923 Juniper Bay Road Conway, SC 29527.
