Mrs. Essie P. Jenerette, age 82, wife of the late Hilton P. Jenerette, passed away May 31, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.  Mrs. Essie was born December 17, 1936 a daughter of the late Robert and Sally Hardwick Johnson.  In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Essie was predeceased by one sister, Ora Mae Allen.  She was a member of Gethesemane Baptist Church, where she was past treasurer and a member of the WMU.  Mrs. Essie is survived by one son, Danny B. Jenerette (Kathy) of Mullins, one daughter, Denise Jenerette of Lugoff, one brother, Robert L. Johnson of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, one sister, Bruce Owens of Mullins, two grandchildren, Michael B. Jenerette (Melissa) of Marion, Amber Jenerette of Aynor, and two great grandchildren, Skylar and Sadie Jenerette.

FUNERAL SERVICE

Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Sunday June 2, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Bailey officiating.

BURIAL

Burial will follow at Rehobeth United Methodist Church Cemetery.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
