Mr. Fred Martin, age 79, husband of the late Myrtle Sue Martin, passed away October 5, 2016 at Conway Manor surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Martin was born April 13, 1937 a son of the late Dillon and Hattie Barnhill Martin. Mr. Martin was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church and was predeceased by one sister, Jane Jordan and one brother, Kenneth Martin. Mr. Martin is survived by four sons, Rev. Freddie Martin (Connie) of Aynor, Johnny "Craig" Martin of Wilmington, NC, Steve Martin of Texas, Trent Martin of Aynor, one daughter, Susan Cox of Fort Worth, Texas, four brothers, Jack Martin (Faye) of Aynor, Rudolph Martin of Loris, Dale Martin, of Santee, Randy Martin of Charleston, one sister, Patsy Martin of Charleston, eleven grandchildren, and twenty five great grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday October 7, 2016 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Dock Rabon and Rev. Ragsdale Allsbrook officiating.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held from 10:00- 10:45 AM prior to the service.

BURIAL

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
