Graham
April 21, 1938 – April 23, 2025
It is with great sadness that we share the loss of Freddie H. Graham on April 23, 2025. He passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Graham was born on April 21, 1938, in Conway, SC, the son of the late Thomas D. and Ruth Russ Graham. He was a devoted member of Antioch Baptist Church, and for well over 50 years of his life, he served the church and the Lord in various roles including: church deacon, Sunday School teacher, and church treasurer. He owned and managed NAPA Auto Parts in Aynor for most of his life, and upon retirement, he worked at Graham Golf Cars until his health prevented him from working. Mr. Graham grew up in Conway, SC, graduating from Conway High School in 1956. After graduation, he joined the United States Navy and proudly served our country from 1956-1960 during peacetime.
Mr. Graham was best known for his love: his love for his family, his love for the Aynor and Conway communities, his love for his church, his love for sports, and his love for all things South Carolina Gamecocks. He enjoyed and faithfully supported Aynor sports, and he found much joy in sharing his time and mentoring the youth of the area. He closely followed his daughters and grandsons in their various sports and activities.
Faithful servant best describes Mr. Graham as he devoted his life to his Lord, his family, his faith, and his work. He never turned away from sharing special moments in his church or celebrating holidays and special occasions with his family. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Mrs. Brenda Holden Graham, five brothers: Tom Graham, Jr., Billy Joe Graham, Jimmy Graham, Charlie Graham, and Phillip Grahan, and two sisters: Peggy Graham Holmes and Margie Graham.
Surviving Mr. Graham are his two daughters, Christi Graham (Wendell) of Aynor and Cheri Lewis (Mike) of Little River, three grandsons - Luke Graham (Carson Faye) of Aynor, Spencer Lewis of Little River, and Ben Lewis of Little River; one great grandson- Brooks Thomas Graham; five nephews- Joe Graham, Mike Graham (Crystal), Russell Graham (Sandy), Andy Graham (Dena), and Russ Graham; three nieces - Robyn Ryan (Patrick), Suzi Griggs (Dean), and Kelli Cantey (Steve); two sisters-in-law - Lynda Graham and Becky Graham; and numerous great- nephews, great nieces and close friends in the community who were very special to him.
The family would like to thank Ms. Nell Johnson, the staff of Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, and the physicians, nurses and therapists at Conway Medical Center and through the region for the exceptional care they provided for Mr. Graham throughout his life and illness.
The family will receive friends at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor from 4 – 6 PM Friday, April 25, 2025. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Antioch Baptist Church with the Reverend Dean Connor and Reverend John Holmes officiating.
