Mr. Frederick Medlin Howell, age 86, passed away at his residence in Conway, SC on March 12, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.  Mr. Howell was the husband of the late Doris Howard Howell and son of the late Joseph Daniel and Lula Rebecca Hearl Howell.  In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Howell is predeceased by one son: John Daniel Howell; two grandchildren: Joseph Daniel Howell II and Nicholas King; six brothers: Woodrow Howell, Elmer Howell, Mickel Howell, Abel Howell, Amos Howell, and Luther Howell; and three sisters: Nollie Dennis, Frances Cook, and Betty Jo Hucks.  Mr. Frederick was a member of Little Lamb Pentecostal Holiness church in Conway.  He retired from International Paper Company in 1999 and was a longtime caretaker of Haulover Plantation in Georgetown County.  He was lifetime farmer, hunter and fisherman.  Surviving Mr. Howell is one son: Tim Howell (Cindy); one daughter: Melissa Dennis (David); a daughter-in-law; Tammy Howell; seven grandchildren: Arcissia Herndon, Kayla Todd (Bubba), Caleb Boyd, Nadia Howell, Katya Howell, Isaac Howell, and Patrick King; eight great grandchildren: Jay Todd, Henley Boyd, Crisslyn Reese, Dayton Boyd, MaKenna Todd, Killian Crowley, Wyatt Boyd, and Emmitt Smith; and two brothers: Aaron Howell and Malachi Howell; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.  Visitation for Mr. Howell will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 PM Friday, March 14, 2025, at Little Lamb Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Little Lamb Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Tim Holt, Jeremy Alford, and Pastor Mark Wilson officiating.  Burial will follow at Pauley Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.  Memorials can be made in honor of Mr. Frederick to Little Lamb Pentecostal Holiness Church Building Fund, 2280 Little Lamb Road Conway, SC 29527.
