Mrs. Glenda Faye Smith, age 62, wife of the late Ernest Smith, passed away November 1, 2019 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  Mrs. Smith was born March 16, 1957, a daughter of the late Jenerette and Mamie Holden Larrimore.  She was also predeceased by her granddaughter Jada Paige Carter and a brother Douglas Larrimore.  Mrs. Smith attended Damascus Freewill Baptist Church.  She loved going to yard sales and traveling with her granddaughters.  She is survived by one son: Derick Allen Carter; five brothers: Dale Larrimore (Carrie), "B.B." James Larrimore (Jennie), Burnell Larrimore (Cindy), Jenerette Devon Larrimore, Kevin Larrimore; four sisters: Betty Lilly (Boyce), Pattie McDowell (Roscoe), Katie Leviner, Jackie Brown (Dexter); one granddaughter: Tessa Marie Carter; Ex-husband; Benny Carter; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family that she loved dearly.  Funeral services for Mrs. Smith will be held 2:00 PM Thursday November 7, 2019 at Damascus Freewill Baptist Church with the Pastor Henry Ward officiating.  Burial will follow at Old Neck Cemetery in Brittons Neck.  Visitation will be held after the service at Damascus Freewill Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
