Rev. Gordon E. Cook age 55, of Sycamore Circle went to be with his Lord and Savior July 16, 2015. Rev. Cook was born September 24, 1959 a son of Mildred Johnson Cook and the late Edmond Cook. He was predeceased by one grandchild, Haleigh Cook, two brothers, William and Edmond Cook Jr., and one sister, Mildred Ann Cook. Rev. Cook pastored several Freewill Baptist Churches over the last 28 years, and was currently preaching at Pireway Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his mother of Galivants Ferry Mr. Cook is survived by his wife Mrs. Tena Cook of the home, one son, Bradly Cook (Ashley) of Aynor, one daughter, Christy Garber (John) of Galivants Ferry, eight grandchildren, Bren Tyler, Megan Cook, Blake Cook, Olivia Cook, Jayden Garber, Bryson Cook, Brittany Garber, Cameron Garber, three brothers, Monroe and John Cook both of Galivants Ferry, Wayne Cook of Marion, and one sister Shelby Jean Faircloth of Charleston.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM July 18, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Sunday July 19, 2015 at Mt. Trolly Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. James Sarvis officiating.

BURIAL

Burial will follow at Cook Family Cemetery.
