Mr. Gordon Ray, age 76, passed away Friday August 21, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  Mr. Ray was born February 9, 1944 a son of the late Rufus Ray and the late Flossie Graham Ray.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Ray was predeceased by one sister: Virginia Terry.  He was a member of Berea Baptist Church. Mr. Ray was a loving husband, father, and grandfather that loved his family and all his animals, especially his side kick Pee Wee his beloved dog.  Mr. Ray is survived by his wife: Veloice Barnhill Ray of the home; one son: Gavin Ray (Crystal); one daughter: Lisa Broach (Tony); four grandchildren: Kaylee Stokes (Johnathan), Lane Ray, Heston Ray, Brooke Welch (John);  three great grandchildren: Bentley Welch, Chandler Welch, John Stokes: one brother: James Ray; and one sister: Bobbie Jean Smith.  A private memorial service will be held for Mr. Ray Wednesday, August 26, 2020 with the Rev.
