Mr. Grayson Gunter, age 85, of Galivants Ferry, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at Conway Medical Center following an illness.  Mr. Grayson was the husband of Naomi Alford Gunter, son of the late Eugene Gunter and Geneva Barnhill Graham.  In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by one son, Anthony Gunter; and one brother: Archie Gunter.  Mr. Grayson was a member of Mt. Trolly Freewill Baptist Church.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, his chickens, and eating watermelon.  He loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Surviving Mr. Gunter is the wife of the home, Naomi Alford Gunter; one son: Keith Gunter (Jo Ann); one daughter: Teressia Gunter; six grandchildren: Phillip, Christopher, Adam, Brian, Little Keith, and Kimberly; eleven great grandchildren: Anthony, Adam, Gracie, Brantley, Lane, Kailyn, Andi, Jase, Mattie, Rylee, and Dalton; two brothers: Ed Graham and Michael Graham; and one sister: Judy Richardson.  A graveside service will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Mt. Trolly Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Marty Cox and Rev. Timmy Hodge officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Mrs. Naomi Gunter at 4011 Gunter Island Road, Galivants Ferry, SC 29544.
