Mrs. Harriett Stephens James, age 77, wife of the late Michael Lee (Bo) James, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Grand Strand Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. James was born January 3, 1948, a daughter of the late Arden and Jean Gerald Stephens. She enjoyed spending time with her classmates, "The Chic's of '66", and will be remembered as a loving momma and Nana. Mrs. James is survived by one son: Lee James (Kelli); one daughter: Alicia Shelley (Leonard); three grandchildren: Cameron Shelley, Katie James Johnson (Justin) and Jordy James; and one sister: Karen Holt (Tim). Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Hillcrest Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Tim Holt officiating. Visitation with friends will follow after the service and all other times at Mrs. James's home prior to the service. The family would like to thank Mrs. Brenda Garratt for her dedication and friendship as a caregiver and to Grand Strand Medical Center and Palliative Care for their compassion and comfort that they had shown during Mrs. James's illness.
