Hazel Marie Dillon Butler departed this life to meet her Savior face to face on November 2, 2016. She was born on Powell's Mountain in Nicholas County, West Virginia on December 17, 1927 to the late Joe and Myrtle Shaver Dillon. Mrs. Butler was predeceased by her husband, Truman Butler, and a sister, Bessie D. Sparks. She is survived by a sister, Ann D. Jackson of Clinton, S.C., her children Joe (Marsha), Betty Boyd (John), Robert, Paul (Cheryl), and Keith (girlfriend Mika Beal), a special "Daughter-in-love", Nancy Johnson Martin, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Emily (boyfriend Lee Griffin) and Holly Butler, Jason Boyd (Tiyana), great-grandchildren Alyissa, Damien, and Olivia Boyd, many special nieces and nephews, and friends and family who loved her. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ, her family, Aynor, Horry County, Aynor United Methodist Church, the Atlantic Ocean, and the hills of West Virginia. She loved all people and they loved her, and her desire was that everyone would live for the Lord and be ready to meet Him. A most special thank you to Paulette and Stephanie, treasured caregiver and nurse.

VISITATION

Visitation will be at Aynor United Methodist Church fellowship hall on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 11:00-12:15.

FUNERAL

Funeral services will follow in the church sanctuary at 12:30.

BURIAL

Burial will follow at Aynor Cemetery.

MEMORIALS

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Aynor United Methodist Church or Heartland Hospice of Horry County.
