Mrs. Hazel Hughes, age 82, passed away June 1, 2020.  Mrs. Hughes is the wife of the late William E. Hughes.  She was born October, 2, 1937, a daughter of the late Grady and Essie Mishoe Cook.  She is also predeceased by one brother: Carl Cook and one brother-in-law: Edison Ricks.  Mrs. Hazel retired from Conway Medical Center as a Medical Secretary.  She loved her family dearly and loved to read and sew. She is survived by one son, Mr. William (Eddie) Hughes (Rena) and one daughter, Mrs. Lynn Williams (Billy) all of Galivants Ferry, four grandchildren: Haley Ammons (Josh), Jordy Hughes (Casey), Michael Williams (Patti) and Brandon Williams (Kelly), six great-grandchildren: Eli Ammons, Judson Ammons, Clara Hughes, Rivers Hughes, Grayson Williams, and Elijah Williams, two brothers: Roy Cook (Martha) and Larry Cook; two sisters: Marjorie Ricks and Brenda Roberts (Jimmy); one sister-in-law: Hazel G. Cook.  Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at Brown Swamp United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ragsdale Allsbrook officiating.
