Mrs. Helen Jenkins, age 84, wife of the late Thomas Eldon Jenkins, passed away February 15, 2020 at Conway Manor.  Mrs. Jenkins was born November 28, 1935 a daughter of the late Allen Earl and Beatrice Richardson Smith.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jenkins was predeceased by two children: Pamela Rose Bramlett (Jenkins) and Patricia Beatrice Jenkins; one brother: Billy Scott Smith. She was a member of Reedy Creek Baptist Church where she played the piano.  Mrs. Jenkins graduated from Raines Centenary High School as Valedictorian of her class.  Her favorite sport was basketball and she loved being outdoors and gardening.  Mrs. Jenkins is survived by one son, Robert Allen Jenkins (Sandy) of Aynor, and one daughter, Paula Rowland (Steve R.) of Columbia.  Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 17, 2020 at Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.  The family will visit with friends at the cemetery following the service.
