Mrs. Helen Lawson, age 65, wife of Mr. H.W. Lawson passed away July 2, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family. Mrs. Lawson was born June 27, 1951 a daughter of the late L.B. and Mary Hardee Powell. Mrs. Lawson was predeceased by one daughter, Crystal Lawson, and one brother Frank Powell. She was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Lawson is survived by one daughter, Michelle Owens (Patrick), two sisters, Barbara Ann Mendez, Wanda Baker, and three grandchildren, Grace, Luke, and Claire Owens, all of Galivants Ferry.

FUNERAL SERVICE

Funeral services for Mrs. Lawson will be held 4:00 PM Monday July 4, 2016 at Mt. Herman Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Floyd officiating.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.

BURIAL

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
