Mr. Henry Luther "HL" Capps Jr., age 70, passed away unexpectedly February 3, 2024, at his residence. Mr. Capps was born February 11, 1953, a son of the late Henry Luther and Wilma Lawson Capps Sr. In addition to his parents, Mr. Capps is predeceased by his wife Kathy Capps and his brother: Timmy Capps. Mr. Capps was a veteran of the United States Marines, a member of Pisgah Methodist Church and a dedicated participant to the James F. Byrnes Foundation. He is survived by one son: Trey Capps (Kayla); one daughter: Shannon Capps; and two brothers: Johnny Capps and Robbie Capps. Visitation will be held from 1:00-1:45PM Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held following visitation beginning at 2:00 PM.
