Goff
September 6, 1923 – August 4, 2015
Mr. Herbert Lane Goff, age 91 passed away August 4, 2015 at McLeod Loris Hospital. He was born September 6, 1923 a son of the late John Henry and Ella Goff. Mr. Goff served in the United States Army during World War II where he was a prisoner of war. He retired from the United States Air Force. He was a member of Homewood Baptist Church, and a life member of the DAV 57, America Legion Post 41, and the Ex Pow. Mr. Goff was predeceased by his first wife, Alberta Todd Goff, and his second wife Eva Wilkie Goff. Mr. Goff is survived by his wife Mrs. Eunice Martin of the home, one son, Lane Herbert Goff (Rosa) of Glouchester, Va., three step sons, Joe Wilkie (Betty) of Sumter, SC, John Wilkie (Harriet) of Greenville, SC, Antino "Tony" Martin (Diane) of Conway, four step daughters, Annie Huggins of Sumter, Mary Cave (Jerry) of Oregon, Betty Jean Brown (Johnny) of Sumter, Garnette Byrd (John) of Conway, one sister in law, Vera Goff of Georgetown, and many grandchildren great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL SERVICES
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday August 7, 2015 at Homewood Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Evans and Rev. Earl Spivey officiating.
VISITATION
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 AM.
BURIAL
Burial will take place 4:00 PM Friday August 7, 2015 at Evergreen Cemetery in Summerton, SC.
