Mr. Hermon W. Floyd, age 86, passed away at his daughter's residence May 20, 2024. Mr. Floyd was born October 9, 1937, a son of the late Autiewell and Reitha Johnson Floyd. Mr. Floyd was a retired surveyor from the US Department of Agriculture. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, where he served his church in many different capacities. Mr. Floyd loved farming and gardening. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father. Mr. Floyd is survived by his wife: Patricia Whaley Floyd; one daughter: Pam Zengerle and her husband Tim of Blythewood, SC; and one brother: Larry Floyd and his wife Ann of Lexington, SC, and many extended family that he loved dearly. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dean Connor officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service.
