Mr. Howard Johnson, age 73, husband of Mrs. Roseanna Johnson passed away November 14, 2024 surrounded by his loving family at McLeod Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Howard was born June 4, 1951, a son of the late James Rupert and Elnita Thompkins Johnson. He was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church. Mr. Howard loved his family and enjoyed going to barbecues and being outdoors farming. In addition to his wife of the home, Mr. Howard is survived by three children: Tim Johnson (Angie), Jennifer Johnson (Craig) and Kent Johnson (Kristi); his grandchildren: Ethan Johnson (Abby), Mackenzie Bell (O'Brian), Jacob Johnson, Katelyn Lovell (Andrew) and Michael Grace Harrelson (Lander); one great grandson: Waylon Johnson; one brother: James Lester Johnson (Linda) and one sister: Betsy Ahnert (Doug). Visitation for Mr. Howard will be held at Mt. Herman Baptist Church Fellowship Hall from 2:30-3:15 PM Sunday, November 17, 2024. Funeral services will follow at 3:30 PM in the church sanctuary with the Rev. Jimmy Floyd and Rev. Donnie Graham officiating. Burial will held in the church cemetery.
