Mrs. Isla G. Calhoun, age 87 of Joyner Swamp Road passed away June 7, 2017 at Loris Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Calhoun was born June 1, 1930 a daughter of the late Charlie Dow Graham and Eula Jane Ray Graham. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Calhoun, one son, John H. Bell III, and one daughter, Ann B. Frye. Mrs. Calhoun was a member of Berea Baptist Church. She loved going to church, working in her yard, planting trees and playing Sudoku. Mrs. Calhoun is survived by two daughters, Lynn B. Phipps of Galivants Ferry, Jayne B. Johnson of Conway, one sister, Eula Mae Durant of Aynor, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor.

FUNERAL SERVICE

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Berea Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Jenerette and Steve Allen officiating.

BURIAL

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
