Mrs. Izzie A. Parrott (Mama Izzie), age 90 passed away Sunday January 28, 2018. Mrs. Parrott was born June 13, 1927 in Horry County a daughter of the late Homer Burroughs Alford and Amelia Barnhill Alford. Mrs. Parrott was predeceased by her first husband Gary L. Smith and second husband Ashton Parrott, and a beloved son, Gary L. Smith Jr., her brothers, D.L. Alford, Melton Alford, Eddie Alford, and her sisters, Galvan Prosser, Reba Lewis, May Rabon, Goldifine Allen, and Daisy Alford. Mrs. Parrott is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Smith Evans of Aynor, one son, Wayne Kirk Smith and his wife Anita of Columbia, a daughter in law, Gayle Smith of Aynor, eight grandchildren, Barry Evans, Archie Evans, Kristie Fogle, Jamie Smith, all of Aynor, Tiffany Norris of Buford Ga., Kirk Smith of Greenville, SC, Carolyne Billings of Denver, Co., Scott Smith, of Indianapolis, IN., sixteen great grandchildren, four sisters, Carolyn Nobles of Aynor, Kim Jordan of Conway, Lin Lockheart of Myrtle Beach, Ven Jordan of Tabor City, NC.

FUNERAL SERVICE

Funeral services for Mrs. Parrott will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday January 31, 2018 at Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Herrington officiating.

VISITATION

Visitation will be held prior to the service for 11:00-11:45 AM. Burial will be private following the funeral service in the church cemetery.
