Mr. Jack Edwards, age 84, of Galivants Ferry passed away at his residence Tuesday, October 7, 2025.  Mr. Jack was the husband of the late Connie Todd Edwards and the son of the late Flora Belle Edwards.  In addition to his wife and mother, he is predeceased by one grandchild: Jonathon Wayne Smith; four brothers and eight sisters.   Mr. Jack will be remembered by others for his love for gardening, especially his tomatoes, woodworking, and horses.  He retired from Wolverine Brass after 42 years of employment with them.  Surviving Mr. Jack are his children: Marvin Edwards (Davine), Ann Singleton (Buddy), Weldon Edwards, Randy Edwards (James Martin), Pam Smith, Scottie Edwards (Morgan), and Jackie "Beth" Watts (Michael); grandchildren: Crystal Edwards, Sierra Lachmanek, Ashley Siratt, Corey Singleton, Jeremy Singelton, Nikki Edwards, Daniel Smith, Bowyn Edwards, Baliey Edwards, Bradley Edwards, and Lucas Watts; great grandchildren: Lilian, Kaylee, Joshua, Lillie, Allie, Kashlyn, Jaxton, Brinley, Gannon, and Baby-Boy Singleton which is due soon; special friends: Ralph and Annie Spivey.  The family of Mr. Jack would like to thank Leah Campbell and Agape Hospice for all their care that was given to him.  The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday, October 10, 2025, from 2:00 – 2:45 at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor.  A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. James Mew officiating.  Burial will take place at Aynor Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Mr. Jack to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America at Donate | Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
