Mr. James W. "Buster" Altman, age 60 of Hwy. 129 passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Agape Rehabilitation of Conway. Mr. Altman was born October 21, 1954 a son of the late John Eugene Altman Sr. and Virginia Johnson Altman. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Mr. Altman graduated from Coastal Carolina University. He was an avid Gamecock fan and golfer. He was employed by Conway Country Club. Surviving Mr. Altman is one brother, John E. Altman Jr. and his friend Jackie of Columbia, one niece, Tanya O'Brien of Columbia, two nephews, Jack Altman of Greenville, Christopher Altman of Columbia, four great nephews, and three great nieces.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday November 19, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday November 20, 2014 at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Dean Connor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
